What works

Anyone who knows me, knows her. But I'll get into that another time.

I wanted this to be just a sketch but my scanner trolled me. Again. I think it's time to get another one. A better one.
What I mean is, the scanner missed a lot of the minor details, and minor details are the heart of work.

About the picture... These days I'm practicing a lot types of shading and painting styles in Photoshop. But I'm doin' that with no help, day by day I'm improving little by little, step by step. For this one I used the same skin tone, various layers set on multiply, then I adjust each one's opacity to create the effect. I don't know if that's used by someone, or if it's even considered practical, but what matters for me is that it worked.
